Helen Reynolds - anniversary offer

I launched my image business on a very hot sunny day on 1st July 2009. My boys were just 2 and 4 and I was SO nervous and excited about starting up my very own business.

I held a garden party, invited 10 local friends and asked them all to bring someone I didn’t know. The sun shone, the fairy lights twinkled, and the sparkling wine flowed.

I gave a little speech and did a demonstration on two very kind friends who (rather reluctantly) allowed me to use them as models. I handed out my freshly printed leaflets, asked everyone to spread the word, offered a small discount to anyone that booked a consultation that evening and booked my first 9 clients into my diary. I was elated!

10 years on and a LOT has changed. But what has stayed the same is my excitement, passion and motivation to share what I know about style and how to put outfits together in a way that makes you look and feel your very best.

Over the years I’ve learnt a lot about how women feel and think about their bodies. It’s quite revealing and reminds me of why this work is so important in this age of social media and ‘comparisonitis’.

10 things I’ve learnt in my 10 years in business as an Image Consultant

1. Many women feel that they are too big / too small / too tall / too short / too busty / too flat-chested/ too big-bottomed / too flat-bottomed/…

2. Occasionally a woman can tell me all the things she loves about her body but more often than not, she can reel off a long list of what is ‘wrong’ with the way she looks.

3. Many women believe that the retail industry doesn’t cater for their body and that there is nothing available to buy that will fit them.

4. We are all beautifully different.

5. There is no one size fits all solution to any clothing dilemma.

6. When you pay attention to how to dress for your shape, your confidence soars.

7. Simple outfit formulas are often the best.

8. Not everyone suits print and bright colours.

9. A wardrobe full of clothes is not always the solution to having an outfit for every occasion

10. When you find your true style, life becomes happier and you become unstoppable.

It was TOTALLY out of my comfort zone to launch a business, to market myself, to charge MONEY for something I enjoyed so very much but I am SO glad that I did it. And that I continue to do it. And that I get to work with such wonderful, inspiring women from all over the world to get the support they need, to boost their clothes buying confidence and to make putting together great outfits more joyful and easy.

We are all on this journey called life and I strongly believe that when we package ourselves up in clothes that we love, and that ‘love us back’, everything feels a bit easier. We hold our heads a bit higher and we are more likely to feel brave enough to step out of our own comfort zone to do something wonderful.

To all the gorgeous women who have supported me on my journey, thank you.

To all my wonderful followers, thank you for reading my blogs, watching my videos and inspiring me with your questions and comments.

If we have yet to work together, and you now feel ready to step out of your own comfort zone, I’d love to have the privilege of supporting you. It’s truly amazing how much more confident you will feel to do your own ‘stepping up’ when you are wearing outfits that are true to you, and the way you are.

Whether you want to make the leap from corporate to launch your own passion business, are ready to find your life partner, (which means getting back onto the dating scene), or if you want to change the way you feel about yourself for whatever reason, I have a special something for you.

I’ve worked really hard over the years to build my reputation and have been able to attract some pretty amazing women into my world. They’ve experienced their own wonderful transformation and then kindly recommend me to their friends. This means that my diary fills up pretty quickly and for that I will be forever grateful. But, it’s always worth getting in touch. Some months I have more availability than others. If you’ve been following me for a while and wondering whether working with me is a step you should take, please get in touch today (by clicking here) and we can talk.

Tell me why you feel ready for a transformation and if I feel I can help you in the way that you need, we can find a suitable date.

Is this your time?

I look forward to hearing from you soon, but for now I’m off to crack open the bubbles and languish in this milestone anniversary for a bit longer…

Helen x
